Eliazar Cabrera Using Social Media to Advance the Fire Department Mission

This article is basically talking about how social media helps out a lot and it advance  the fire department like Twitter and what this do it that it provides the communities with instructions on evacuation and also shelter. The main point of this article is that social media helps out the fire department a lot  because people all around the world are on there phones and using social media like Facebook Twitter Instagram ect.... so its a much faster way in my opinion to get people notified is something bug is going to happen like a flood or a tornado is about to hit.  I agree 100 % with this article because we are always glued to our phones so we would be well informed and also the fire department  can send out messages to help out the community. The thing i would add to this article is that would it just be smart phones that get the alerts because some people don't have smart phones they have flip phones so i'm wondering if they are also going to get the alerts.
